The Property Management Company (PMC) provides an integrated property management and factoring service to thousands of residential properties throughout Scotland. PMC is a privately owned and managed business, established in Aberdeen in 1995.

The Property Management Company Directors are fully committed to providing excellence in our service standards across the entire range of our property management and factoring operations. In recent years, The Property Management Company has concentrated on the development of our ‘core’ client base. Our success here, coupled with encouragement from several major developers, and approaches from established residents’ associations, are major factors in our continued expansion.

At PMC, we believe that the provision of efficient customer care and service is of paramount importance in maintaining relationships with our clients, and developing our business. Each of our clients has direct telephone and email access to a Property Management Company, Property Manager in order to address and process customer enquiries over the entire range of property issues.

The ‘key’ to our success we believe, is our ability and desire to communicate with our clients with ease, in order that ‘small’ issues are never allowed to become ‘big’ problem. We are aware that our own future success is directly linked to our ability to provide service levels, which add value to our clients’ lifestyles and the well being of their home environment.

Martin Rochford

Martin Rochfort FIRPM FRICS

Executive Chairman

Martin acquired The Property Management Company in 2002 and has been part of the successful growth of the business throughout Scotland. As a former President of The Property Managers Association for Scotland (PMAS), he has been involved with the principal stakeholders in the development of the Property Factors (Scotland) Act. Currently he is also a member of the Board of Governors for the Institute of Residential Property Managers (IRPM), an organisation dedicated to improving the education and qualifications of people working in our industry.

Richard Burnett

Richard S Burnett MA, FRICS, FIRPM

Managing Director

Richard, a Graduate of Aberdeen University, Richard is a lifelong Property Professional. He joined the company in 2008 following a successful career with a major Scottish legal firm. Specialising in the Management and Letting of Residential Property, he was elected a Fellow of the RICS in 2000, and currently serves on the Scottish Board. He was President of the Property Managers Association for Scotland and is a founder Director of the IRPM, having served as its President for two years and chairing the College of Fellows for three years. A former Reservist Army Officer, Richard has also spent time assisting ex-Forces Housing Charities. Passionate about the Outdoors, he is normally accompanied by his Black Labrador Tara – an honorary member of the Firm.

Neale Bissett

Neale Bisset, MIRPM, AssocRICS, MA

Operations Director

Neale joined the company in 2010, following his graduation from Robert Gordon University, after completing a degree in Law and Management. He has managed many of our developments across Aberdeen City, Aberdeenshire, Moray and the Highlands, and has used his knowledge, expertise and a keen eye to ensure developments are maintained to a high standard. He is a full member of the Institute of Residential Property Management and an Associate of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. He has also completed a Graduate Certificate in Law, specialising in debt recovery, from Stirling University. As Operations Director, and a member of the board, he brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to PMC.

Annette Hudson

Finance Director

Annette joined the company in 2015 following a successful career as the Treasury & Banking Manager for Centrica Energy Exploration & Production . This work involved managing the forecasting and Foreign Exchange Hedging processes for the teams in the UK, Norway, Netherlands and Trinidad.

Prior to this she was Financial Administration Manager for a large High Street retailer with over 500 shops.

Annette is an experienced People Manager and looks to get the best from the individuals in her team, to ensure that there is an ongoing commitment to accuracy, and training, and that clearly defined processes and procedure are in place.

Brenda returned to work with PMC in 2018 after a short spell elsewhere. Gaining experience as a Property Manager with the company previously and having qualified with IRPM as a Full Member, she is delighted to be back at this exciting time as the company moves forward and expands.

Jen joined us in September 2018 after working as an Operations Manager for a large and busy Leasing Agency in Aberdeen. Prior to this role, she worked as a Property Manager for over seven years, gaining experience in providing an excellent service to both landlords and tenants. With these skills and her university training in law, Jen plans to expand the Lettings business and build on the current processes in place.

In her spare time, Jen enjoys travelling and visiting nice restaurants.

Kasia joined us in July 2018 as a Letting Administrator. She is a Wroclaw University of Economics graduate and holds an MA in Business and Public-Sector Management. 
Out of hours she is a very active person. She loves wild camping holidays, music and spending time with her husband and two cats.

Dionne joined us in April 2015 after working for a national housebuilder. Dionne currently manages a portfolio of properties in Aberdeen in addition to developments in Dundee, Perth, Stirling and Cumbernauld.

Dionne is enthusiastic about her work and is progressing through her IRPM Exams. In her spare time Dionne enjoys hillwalking around Scotland with her dog.

Justine joined the team in March 2016 after working in a busy Estate Agents as a Property Manager for 3 years. Justine’s portfolio of developments is based in and around Aberdeenshire and Aberdeen. Justine is working towards completing her IRPM qualifications and hopes to continue progressing in the property sector. In her spare time Justine enjoys travelling the world and experiencing new cultures.

Andrea started with the company in April 2017 in the finance department, she recently moved into an administration role, as her main objective is ‘ Customer Satisfaction’ ……. in today’s business economic climate customer satisfaction is commonly declared by companies but rarely delivered, Andrea has led a successful customer orientated career never faulting and always taking it upon herself to achieve the best possible outcome for the client regardless of time and effort required to achieve this, never asking or requiring praise for her work, Andrea has a naturally calming and positive attitude that is welcomed by her clients in the most challenging times and never fails to deliver, you know your query is dealt with.

He also has a wide range of experience in IT support and is involved with the development and support of our IT infrastructure.  Although born and raised in the north-east, Nathan relocated to the Highlands a few years ago and carries out the majority of his work remotely.

My name is Donald (Don) Keith and I am a conscientious concierge looking after 323 flats at Bannermill Place, Aberdeen.

Prior to joining PMC in 2015 I had 40 years’ experience as a Senior Drilling Supervisor offshore in the oil and gas industry.
