General Policy Statement

This is the general Health & Safety Policy Statement of PMC (Aberdeen) Ltd


It is the general policy of the organisation to ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable, the health, safety and welfare of our employees and of those other people who could be affected by the operation of our business that is Property Management in Scotland.

Further to this, we are committed to the following objectives:

    • To assess and provide adequate control of the health and safety risks arising from our work activities.
  • To consult with our employees on matters affecting their health and safety
  • To manage health and safety at work and provide the necessary resource to ensure this policy is effective
  • To have access to competent advice
  • To provide and maintain safe plant and equipment
  • To ensure safe handling and use of substances
  • To provide information, instruction and supervision for our employees taking account of those persons who do not have English as their first language
  • To ensure all employees are competent to do their tasks, and to give them adequate training
  • To prevent accidents and cases of work-related ill health
  • To maintain safe and healthy working conditions
  • To improve health and safety working performance and management through regular review and revision of this policy when necessary


It is the duty of management to ensure that everything is done so far as reasonably practicable to prevent personal injury in all our activities of Property Management in Scotland. We will strive to maintain a safe and healthy place of work for our employees, visitors, contractors, and anyone who will be present on our premises or who could be affected by our business undertakings of Property Management in Scotland.

For the purposes of clarity where duties are in respect of premises only, the premises means The Property Management Company Ltd Head Office of operations of Property Management in Scotland in Little Square, Oldmeldrum and Concierge offices where relevant, on developments.

It is the duty of all employees to co-operate with the company, act responsibly, and to do everything they can to prevent injury to themselves, colleagues and others through their acts and omissions. Whilst implementation of this policy is a management responsibility, it will rely heavily on the co-operation of all staff.

We have retained the services of GS Group to support us in meeting our health and safety responsibilities.

The Managing Director has the overall and final responsibility for Health and Safety, whose commitment to its achievement is indicated by signing of this policy statement.
